I'm a mature fangirl who REALLY should know better than to obsess about mysterious, troubled men in black garb. And yet.
If I ask you to make me a friend or join your group or community or what have you, it is only because I need the fanfic, people.

If only I could just get really into Slash, I'd never run out of smut to read!
For some mysterious reason (could it be my curly brown hair and worn out library card?), I only enjoy my fanfic with Hermione Granger in a starring role. (I can hear the groans from here.)
I don't mind supporting cast partaking in the smut, but too much time spent with Ginny, Luna, Tonks or Narcissa just loses my interest.
As for the wizards, I always prefer a story that features both Hermione & Severus Snape (like you couldn't guess that!), but I hate it when Snape is paired with anyone else UNLESS....
..it's a THREESOME! And when I say "threesome", I mean Hermione and two hot wizards. Preferable groupings:
HG/SS/LM
HG/SS/RL
HG/SS/HP
I have yet to see HG/SS/BW, but I think I could get into that!
Here's an extra delicous favorite: HG/SS/SS(+) a la Lady of the Masque's inventive ways to provide more than one Snape per Hermione -- "Army of Snapes" & "For Someone Special" come to mind. Oh, me likey alot!

Fervesco's incomparable FOURSOME (HG/SS/RL/SB) from the "Mission: Get Hermione Laid" series is nothing short of genius! I'm not usually terribly enthused by Sirius Black's many resurrections, but a few authors do it right (like Fervesco!).
So that's rather Slashy of me...no? There's hope! As long as they include Hermione in their shenanigans, the boys can do whatever they like and I don't get cranky.
My most recent obsession has been Hermione with Arthur Weasley. So rarely written, and even rarer to find WELL-written, but it has been done...by I_Octopus in the miraculous "Destination Unknown" as a matter of fact. GEN-I-US!
(I know I already called Fervesco a genius, but really, they're both geniuses! Pinky swear!)
Ah yes. What's that you say? "Not all fanfic is smut, you dirty-minded old woman." Too true...a shame that, because (like the Slash thing) then I'd never run out of smut to read.
Must read smut.

What does it mean when you don't want to answer your phone or get together with any of your friends or family because it will interfere with reading the fanfic?

Hey, am I the only one who carries around my largest purse everyday so I can accommodate all the print-outs that I have with me "just in case"?
